Clinical Relevance
IgE-mediated reactions
TetraMin® may uncommonly induce symptoms of skin or inhalant allergy in sensitised individuals. No reports of hypersensitivity reactions to Tetramin® have been made in the peer-reviewed medical literature; however, as a consequence of its ingredients, e.g., crustaceans, which are important allergens, these reactions are possible.
