Overview

Lady's bedstraw is a plant. The leaves, stems, and flowers are used to make medicine.

Lady's bedstraw is used for cancer, hysteria, sexual desire, spasms, and many other conditions, but there is no strong scientific evidence to support these uses.

Lady's bedstraw is sometimes applied directly to the skin for scaly, itchy skin (psoriasis), poorly healing wounds, and to stop bleeding.

Lady's bedstraw contains chemicals that act as antioxidants. These chemicals seem to slow down the growth of cancer cells in the laboratory.
