Calamint is a bushy herb. The parts that grow above the ground are used to make medicine and to flavor foods.

People use calamint for infection of the airways, insomnia, depression, seizure disorder (epilepsy), gout, and many other conditions, but there is no good scientific evidence to support these uses.
