Koch’s Glycoside
OTHER NAME(S): Glyoxylide, Koch's Glyoxylide, Koch's Synthetic Anti-Toxin, Glucósido de Koch, Glycoside de Koch
Overview
Koch's glycoside (glyoxylide) was a substance developed by William F. Koch. He claimed that it could treat all forms of cancer, which is untrue.
William F. Koch claimed that all cancer was caused by a specific toxin in the body and that his glycoside could remove that toxin and cure cancer. But such a toxin has never been identified.
There is no good scientific evidence to support the use of Koch's glycoside for any purpose, and many people who used Koch's glycoside experienced advanced cancer and death.
